The NI PXI-6704 provides a total of 32 analog output channels:

16 voltage outputs
16 current outputs

These channels can be used simultaneously and independently. Additionally, the module includes eight 5 V TTL/CMOS digital I/O (DIO) lines. Each output can be independently set for a bipolar voltage output of $\pm 10 V$ or a current output from $0 to 20 mA$ .

The module utilizes a single 16-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) that is time-division multiplexed across all output channels. To maintain the set channel values between DAC updates, each channel incorporates a track-and-hold circuit. The PXI-6704 also features internal calibration channels that are scanned and updated alongside the output channels, contributing to its accuracy.
